Julianne Moore supports Wear Orange campaign

29 05 2015

Julianne Moore, Russell Simmons, Michael Stipe, Alyssa Milano, Amanda Peet, Perez Hilton, and Melissa Joan Hart are among celebrities supporting the first annual National Gun Violence Awareness Day, June 2.

The stars are pledging to 'Wear Orange' for the campaign, which aims to raise awareness of existing efforts to reduce gun violence in America and helps honour lives that have been cut short by gun violence every day. Stipe commented 'We're often presented with a false choice in the guns debate: that you have to 'pick a side'. But every American opposes gun violence and all of us can do more to help save lives. I'll wear my orange with pride on June 2 and hope people nationwide will join me in showing their true colours'.
